Lotta Talbot and Sybil, c1898
Photograph of the Lotta Talbot and the Sybil docked at Dawson. A large crowd has gathered to greet the arrival of these two sternwheelers. The Lotta Talbot was 242 tons, and was built in 1898 at Seattle. It operated on St. Michael Dawson run. The Sybil was 654 tons, and was built in 1898 at Victoria. It worked between Whitehorse and Dawson. The Sybil was converted to a barge in 1904.
