Inscription verso: First commercial radio telegraph station in Yukon. Operated by RC Sigs for contact with Mayo + Keno HIlls mines. Opened 20 Oct 23. By 1940 was one of many RC Sigs stations in north. System was called NWT+Y Radio System (NWT+YRS).
