Arctic Gallery, c1984
Black and white photograph of John Jerome Healy’s living-dining room at Fort Cudahy, his trading post across the Forty-Mile River from the town proper. The inscription is undoubtedly a reference to the antlers and animal skins which adorned the room. J. J. Healy was, prior to coming to the Yukon, the hanging sheriff of Chouteau County, Montana.
