Aerial photo taken in the spring showing where the drilling was done the previous winter by Anglo American. Taken from the east bank of Yukon River at the south end of Dawson near the mouth of the Klondike River. The company drilled a concentrated pattern at the mouth of the rivers flowing into the Yukon and at each geological fault crossing the Yukon River. There were 44 feet between the ice and bedrock at the mouth of the Klondike River. See also 1982.126.1 to 9.
